Snakes intertwine between a bow case, and a snake crawls into a mystical basket, a cista mystica, surrounded by an ivy wreath with fruit on the coin's reverse. This piece was reproduced from an ancient Greek coin from the city of Ephesus circa 130BC. Handmade, cast in bronze with a cast set topaz. The cista mystica was known to store secretive magical items. Wearing this coin necklace is a daily reminder that life is full of mystery.
